Our Story

Vault.Bank is managed by the Bank of Brodhead, a community bank which has serviced its local community for over 125 years while holding high standards in trust, security, and service. Interacting with our customers on a personal basis is important to us. We take pride in knowing each customer that walks through the door – a promise we’ve continued with Vault.Bank by assigning a dedicated customer service representative to each person who banks with us. 1896

For over 125 years, Bank of Brodhead has been built on a foundation of trust, integrity, and commitment. We're proud to have played a vital role in shaping the communities we serve, while also supporting our customers, employees, and investors. These are the values that Vault.Bank has been built upon.

1980

Over time, shifting societal demands and technological advancements have transformed the way people handle their finances. In the early days, our organization pioneered a revolutionary innovation: the drive-up window, which debuted at our corporate headquarters in 1980. By allowing customers to conduct transactions from the comfort of their vehicles, we significantly accelerated our service delivery.

2002

When we created the bankofbrodhead.com website, the 24/7-access feature was particularly beneficial for customers who had non-traditional schedules or were located in remote areas with limited banking hours.

2023

Our President and CEO Michael J. Olson made the decision to expand our reach to offer more services to customers beyond our traditional community banking model. By launching a digital bank, we are able to leverage digital technology to provide a more modern and convenient banking experience for our customers.

2024

The launch of Vault.Bank's mobile app has revolutionized the way people manage their finances. With the app, individuals can now access their financial accounts from anywhere, at any time, providing unparalleled convenience and transparency. The app's user-friendly interface allows users to log in using a combination of secure credentials, including username and password, as well as advanced biometric authentication methods like fingerprint or facial recognition.
